Cities Today Magazine Investigates Intelligent Cities

From intelligent traffic management to tech-savvy crime fighting, cities are on the cutting edge of smart growth. The latest issue of Cities Today magazine, a global publication designed for senior policymakers in urban development, features examples of “intelligent” systems throughout the world’s cities.

The Intelligent Cities issue of Cities Today highlights the values of systemic management and the key role cities have to play in the future of sustainable growth. One such article focuses on the new Crystal by Siemens, the world’s largest urban sustainability centre, which opened in London in late September. The centre, housed in a highly energy-efficient building, showcases new technologies specifically intended for strategic urban planning at the city level.
