C40 Hong Kong Workshop 'Low Carbon Cities for High Quality Living'

November 5, 2011 - November 6, 2011 Hong Kong

This event will bring cities together to discuss the challenges and opportunities of creating modern, low carbon, high quality, liveable metropolitan centres.

The programme is organised around two themes:
Buildings - with a special focus on retrofitting existing buildings and new build best practice, and
Transport - with a special focus on electric vehicles (EVs).

The C40 Workshop will form part of a larger five-day series of events in Hong Kong to engage community, business and policy stakeholders from Hong Kong, mainland China and overseas in a close dialogue about climate change. In parallel, the 5th Eco Expo Asia will also be held in the same week in November.

The C40 Hong Kong Workshop is organised by the Environmental Campaign Committee of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HK SAR) Government, Civic Exchange, and the C40, and is sponsored by the HK SAR Government's Environment &Conservation Fund.
