Sustainable Communities: Collaborating, Planning, Delivering

Hosted by the City of Melbourne, this C40 Workshop will focus on how cities and key stakeholders can create sustainable communities through innovative policy solutions, and by working collaboratively with developers and infrastructure providers. It will be a problem-solving forum, where key barriers and solutions are explored in-depth by cities, alongside leading thinkers and businesses working in this sector.

The objectives of the workshop include:

  • Sharing local and global leading-edge approaches to creating sustainable communities
  • Identifying challenges and solutions for cities creating sustainable communities or precincts in collaboration with developers and infrastructure providers
  • Prioritising C40 city needs in creating sustainable communities 
  • Workshop attendees include city government officials, local and international developers and infrastructure providers, all levels of Australian Government, local and international thought leaders, industry associations and non-government organisations.
