C40 & Siemens Kick Off Voting for this Year’s Citizen’s Choice Award
The winning project that garners the most public votes will be announced at a formal awards ceremony in New York on September 22nd, along with winners in each of ten categories that will be chosen by an independent panel of judges.
C40 & Siemens are kicking off the voting process by hosting a #CitiesChat on how cities can tackle climate change, and featuring the shortlisted cities and their projects over the next few weeks via the @C40Cities Twitter handle.
Anyone can vote (only once though) in the Citizen’s Choice Award for any city project they like. The list of contenders represents innovative urban projects that have significant potential for environmental impact. The Citizen’s Choice Award voting process is your chance to make your voice heard on which of these projects deserves recognition as a leader among their city peers.
Before you decide, take a look at the full list of eligible cities and their notable climate action projects.
Stay tuned for updates via the @C40Cities Twitter handle.
And once you’ve voted, please share via Twitter or Facebook by letting the world know that you voted, and who you voted for using #C40SiemensAwards.
