II Climate Forum of Russian cities
On 6-7 September 2018, the Government of Moscow will hold the II Climate Forum of Russian Cities (the Climate Forum), organized by the Department of Natural Resources Management and Environmental Protection of Moscow.
The purpose of the Climate Forum, which brings together leading experts in climatology from Russia and other countries, is to unite efforts of governments, businesses and scientific communities to create effective climate plans, exchange experience in implementation of significant projects in this area.
The first Climate Forum of Russian cities was held in August 2017 and became a successful international platform in the Russian Federation, uniting efforts of all stakeholders in the development of mutually beneficial solutions in the field of environmental protection and climate change. Representatives from 17 countries as well as 36 regions of Russia took part in the Climate Forum and more than 7 000 people attended.
