Johannesburg to host 2014 Mayors Summit

Led by New York City Mayor and C40 Chair Michael Bloomberg and Johannesburg Mayor Mpho Parks Tau, the fifth biennial C40 Mayors Summit will convene mayors from the world’s largest cities for three days to advance urban solutions to the climate crisis.

Hundreds of urban and climate change leaders from around the world will join mayors in a series of roundtable discussions and working sessions to focus on the themes of GHG measurement and adaptation in the host city of Johannesburg, South Africa. At the 2011 summit in Sao Paolo, more than 30 mayors attended.


When: The C40 Mayors Summit will be held on February 4-6, 2014.

Where: The Summit will take place in Johannesburg, South Africa.
