Aagya serves as Senior Manager for Jameel C40 Urban Planning Climate Labs, part of the C40 program that aims to support cities, and embed their climate action plan into urban planning regulations. Aagya is an architect and urban and regional planner by training with more than a decade of experience working in spatial planning, public policy, statutory development plans and project development.
Aagya’s previous experience includes working with CRISIL Ltd., Surbana Jurong Pvt Ltd and Khatib Alami where she worked on diverse projects, teams and clients in India, the UAE and Oman on especially large-scale city master plans.
She has also independently collaborated with different firms and delivered projects majorly for state governments and local bodies, such as planning strategies and formulation of development controls for AMRUT smart cities, detailed tourism master plans, GIS-based statutory master plans, and new town development master plans. Aagya has lived in quite a few cities across India (Bangalore, Ranchi, Hyderabad, Delhi and cities in UP, Rajasthan and Uttarakhand); she is presently settled in Mumbai. In her free time, Aagya loves to read and paint and she is fond of travelling.
