Esther serves as Head of Implementation, Southeast Asia, UKAID Programme. Before joining C40, Esther was the Regional Research and Innovation Coordinator based in British High Commission Singapore, coordinating teams that facilitate the partnerships between the UK government and Southeast Asian governments on ODA programmes and supporting science diplomacy activities.

She previously worked in consultancy, research, and Singapore’s urban planning agency doing land use planning. At AECOM, Esther provided economic and geospatial analyses and helped develop sustainable strategies for smart city developments in Southeast Asia. She holds a Master’s degree in Regional Planning and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban and Regional Studies, with a minor in Architecture, from Cornell University.
