Thulani is C40’s Senior Manager for Water Security, Partnership and Implementation in Africa. In this role, he works closely with C40’s regional leaders and cities to drive strategic water security goals.
Prior to joining C40, Thulani served as a technical advisor at WaterAid, providing expertise on programme management and implementation of community-led WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) in Southern Africa, as well as supporting strategic private-sector partnerships. He has a background in civil engineering, where he has led the technical design and construction of urban grey and blue infrastructure and water management in municipalities, mining and the consumer goods industries.
Thulani holds a Master’s degree in Structural Engineering and an MBA from the University of Pretoria. When not working, he enjoys golfing and farming.
