Women4Climate was a C40 Cities initiative focused on empowering and inspiring the next generation of women climate leaders.

From 2017–2023, Women4Climate oversaw 44 mentorship programmes in 22 cities worldwide, building a global community of over 1000 women climate leaders.

Based on our learnings, we’ve created a best practice guide on how to deliver a mentorship programme for future women climate leaders.

This four-week online course aims to empower and inspire women and girls to strengthen their leadership skills in order to deliver climate initiatives rooted in the principles of inclusion and equity.
