Andrea Wyers

Role
Senior City Reporting Manager
Location
Spain

Andrea is the Senior City Reporting Manager for the GCoM/C40 Tech&Data Project, where she leads the global city data collection strategy and provides cross-functional strand coordination. In this role, she manages the development of city reporting systems, aligning user experience, back-end development, and AI integration to serve the strategic needs of both C40 and the Global Covenant of Mayors (GCoM). Andrea leverages robust project management frameworks to streamline the reporting burden for cities, ensuring data actively enables climate finance flows and drives high-impact local action.

Prior to this role, Andrea spent four years leading the Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning function for C40’s £15m UCAP Climate Action Implementation programme. During this time, she developed and managed multidimensional datasets covering a portfolio of 15 global cities and their delivery of 30 distinct sectoral projects. She also scaled C40’s institutional lessons-learned exercise from 14 restricted grant projects to over 70 submissions from both grant and core-funded teams.

Before joining C40 in 2022, Andrea’s work focused on place-based innovation ecosystems in projects delivered by InnovateUK. She also brings multilateral experience from the UN system, having consulted on data harmonisation and knowledge management for the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) and UN-Habitat in Rome.

Andrea holds an MSc in Environment and Sustainable Development from University College London and a BASc in Sustainability, Science and Society from McGill University. She is currently based in Barcelona.
