C40’s recent Women4Climate conference in New York City brought together hundreds of powerful women to highlight the critical role of women’s leadership in the fight against climate change and mobilise the next generation of women leaders building a prosperous, climate-safe future.
“All around the world, in city halls, corporate boardrooms and on the streets of our cities women are demanding action to protect the planet from the threat of climate change,” C40 Chair and Mayor of Paris Anne Hidalgo told the audience of fellow women mayors, global business executives, innovative changemakers and aspiring young leaders gathered at Columbia University.
To build on the incredible momentum from our inaugural Women4Climate conference, C40 has created a series of posters for download and use at the upcoming March for Science on Earth Day (April 22) and People’s Climate March (April 29) – C40 is an official partner for both.
