南京市迅速推广应用新能源公交车，主城区公交车全部实现零排放。南京市已于2019年实现主城区100%使用新能源及清洁能源公交车，占全市公交车总量的95%，平均全年减少碳排放超过18万吨，并建成了1874个充电桩为新能源公交车”护航”。同时，南京还因地制宜对车身和车内作出创新设计，让乘坐更舒适安全，解决了老年人和残障人士的上下车难的问题。

新能源公交车的成功推广，不仅通过碳减排护卫了南京的蓝天，提供了更绿色的工作机会，也为市民提供了更舒适、安全和智慧的出行方式。

Nanjing was quick to promote the application of new energy buses. The city achieved 100% adoption of new energy and clean energy buses in the main urban area by 2019, accounting for 95% of the total number of buses in the city, reducing carbon emissions by more than 180,000 tons of carbon per year on average. In doing so, 1,874 charging piles to “escort” new energy buses were built. At the same time, Nanjing has also implemented innovative designs for the vehicle body and interior, according to local conditions, so as to improve comfort, safety, and convenience.

The successful promotion of new energy buses not only protects Nanjing’s blue sky through carbon emission and pollution reduction and creates greener job opportunities, but also provides citizens with a more comfortable, safer and smarter way of travel.
