Around the world, mayors and local leaders are taking steps to tackle climate change whilst addressing issues of poverty and social inequality. Through a series of short films and an accompanying print publication – all made possible with generous support from the Citi Foundation – C40 is excited to feature six mayors who are delivering inclusive climate action in their cities.

Watch the mayors of Bogotá, Cape Town, New York City, Paris, Portland and Seoul explain why climate change and social inequality must be tackled together in the exclusive short film ‘We Live Here Together’:

In addition, watch these individual city vignettes to get a more in-depth look into how each mayor hopes to transform their cities into equitable and climate-safe places to live and work:

Bogotá, Mayor Enrique Peñalosa

Cape Town, Mayor Patricia de Lille

New York City, Mayor Bill de Blasio

Paris, Mayor Anne Hidalgo

Portland, Mayor Charlie Hales

Seoul, Mayor Park Won-soon
