Caio Raposo serves as C40’s Senior Manager, Waste (Brazil) within the Climate Solutions & Networks department, supporting the Brazil Multilevel Implementation Program.
Caio has experience in waste and methane mitigation policy across Belize, Brazil, Chile, Grenada, Guyana, and Uruguay. His work includes policy design, regulatory analysis, and capacity-building for national and subnational governments. He joins C40 from the Center for Clean Air Policy (CCAP), where he worked on the Recycle Organics Program, supporting organic waste management and methane reduction initiatives in Brazil and the Caribbean.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio Grande do Sul (PUC-RS) and a specialisation in Environmental Management from the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ) – COPPE.
