Jess is the Senior Manager, Business Engagement (Urban Food Systems), where she leads efforts to foster city-business collaboration to transform urban food environments. Through her work, she supports European cities in co-creating initiatives with retailers and food service providers to increase the availability and affordability of healthy, sustainable foods.
Prior to joining C40, Jess was the Lead for Environment and Nutrition and the Global Alliance for Improved Nutrition (GAIN), where she led their strategy and programming at the intersection of climate and nutrition. She also supported the UN Food Systems Summit during a secondment at the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). She spent several years at the Boston Consulting Group (BCG) as a consultant to private-sector and non-profit organisations. Jess holds an MSc in Food Policy from City University and a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
