In 2027, Mumbai will make public buildings more heat-resilient, starting with reflective roof coatings on 65 school buildings to cut heat absorption and improve student comfort.

The city will also install 700kW of solar panels at Fire Brigade offices and the city’s Printing Press, cutting emissions and grid electricity use.
