Oslo is scaling up solar power

In 2027, Oslo will scale up solar power with a new target to increase solar capacity tenfold by 2040. To support electrification, Oslo will combine energy efficiency measures, smarter energy use, and more renewables. Solar power works even in a northern city, and by using existing grey surfaces, Oslo can generate clean energy without adding pressure on nature and biodiversity.
