In 2027, Santiago will roll out 17 “healing gardens” across public hospitals.
Connecting public health, green infrastructure, and adaptation, these nature-based spaces are designed to ease the impacts of extreme heat on hospitals, boosting resilience and offering a model for other cities to replicate.
