成都 Chengdu

Chengdu has established a public carbon benefit brand “Tan Hui Tian Fu”, which combines the concepts of “public carbon emission reduction credit reward” and “development and operation of project carbon emissions reduction”. In 2020, mini programs were successfully launched on WeChat and Alipay, and green travel and low-carbon consumption options were introduced, such as shared bicycles and green catering and supermarkets. Chengdu encourages enterprises to develop energy alternatives, resource conservation and ecological protection projects to achieve carbon emission reduction and participate in carbon neutral transactions. It also makes full use of the Internet to establish a brand effect, attracting more than 500,000 users to practice green and low-carbon lifestyles and production methods.

Through “Tan Hui Tian Fu”, Chengdu has explored innovative mechanisms to promote urban low-carbon development and mobilize citizens to transition urban consumption models and adopt lower-carbon lifestyles.
