Buenos Aires, a C40 city, announced that a bus rapid transit (BRT) system -- the first in Argentina -- went into operation today. BRT systems are networks of dedicated fast-lanes and stations for high-capacity buses, which can provide a clean and affordable alternative to cars and taxis.
