Reclaiming streets for residents is a key focus area for Mayor Pablo Lemus. The Avenida Alcalde in Guadalajara is now fully pedestrianised, which led to the creation of the Fray Antonio Alcalde promenade, the longest pedestrian walkway in Mexico at 2.5km.
