大连市通过提高能源效率、新能源替代等措施加快推进供暖等行业污染管控，持续改善秋冬供暖季空气质量。2020年，完成383台燃煤锅炉特别排放限值改造任务，完成180家企业挥发性有机物整治，对重点区域49台煤气发生炉实施能源替代，全市15家燃煤电厂全部实现超低排放。

预计到2020年底，大连环境空气质量优良天数达到320天以上，创下2013年以来最高纪录。大连市通过低碳改造助力冬季空气质量改善，让城市更加宜居舒适。

Dalian has stepped up the promotion of pollution control in the heating sector and other industries through measures such as energy efficiency and adopting new energy sources. These actions have helped realise the continued improvement of air quality in autumn and winter, when heating is required across the city. In 2020, Dalian completed the transformation of 383 coal-fired boilers with special emission limits, completed volatile organic compounds remediation of 180 enterprises, implemented energy substitutions for 49 gas generators in key areas, and all 15 coal-fired power plants in the city achieved ultra-low emissions.

It is estimated that by the end of 2020, the number of days with good ambient air quality in Dalian will reach more than 320 days, a record high since 2013. Dalian has improved air quality in winter through low-carbon transformation, making the city more livable and comfortable as low carbon transformation continue.
