福州市积极推广新能源和清洁能源汽车，加快推进运输车队结构调整，截止2020年11月底，全市绿色能源公共交通车辆占比90.2%，单位客车运量二氧化碳排放量下降29.21%。新能源和清洁能源巡游出租车6296辆，网约出租车5561辆，公路客运车747辆，环卫专用车46辆。

福州新能源和清洁能源车辆占比大幅提高推动了公共交通绿色化，在交通领域为福州应对气候变化提供了有力支撑，为城市带来了新的经济发展机遇。

Fuzhou actively promotes new energy and clean energy vehicles whilst undertaking the structural adjustment of the city’s transportation fleet. As of the end of 2020, 90.2% of the city’s public transportation vehicles were new energy vehicles and the carbon dioxide emissions per unit passenger vehicle volume dropped by 29.21% from 2015. Across the city there are now 6296 new energy and clean energy cruise taxis, 5561 online booking taxis, 747 new energy highway passenger vehicles, and 46 new sanitation vehicles.

This significant increase in the proportion of new energy and clean energy vehicles in Fuzhou has promoted the greening of public transportation, provided strong support for Fuzhou in addressing climate change in the transport sector, and brought new economic development opportunities for the city.
