Andrea Fernández serves as C40’s Managing Director of Climate Finance, Knowledge and Partnerships. Andrea is responsible for overseeing C40’s Climate Finance, Business Engagement and Knowledge and Learning programmes, as well as C40’s engagement in the Urban Shift Programme. She also drives new strategic priorities and partnerships.

Previously, Andrea worked in the World Bank’s Private Sector Development Department for five years, where she delivered investment appraisals and technical assistance for public enterprise reform and infrastructure projects in emerging economies. Andrea has a Bachelor’s degree in International Business and Economics from Concordia University and an MBA with a finance specialisation from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
