Aprajita supports various heat-related programmes at C40 that support cities with adapting to and building resilience in the face of extreme temperatures, such as the Cool Cities Network.

Before joining C40, Aprajita worked as a researcher studying the intersection of climate, water, energy, and livelihoods, as well as community-based resource management in the Western Himalayas. She has also previously worked as a science writer.

Aprajita has a Bachelor’s degree in Physics, a Master’s degree in climate science and policy from TERI University, New Delhi, and a Master’s in water management science and policy from Yale University.
