Aura serves as the Manager for the Bloomberg Cities Idea Exchange (BCIE), leading overall programme management across three core delivery streams: Social Housing Retrofit, Informal Waste Workers, and Air Quality.
Based in the London office, Aura previously served as the Air Quality Programme Officer, Operations and COP28 Events Coordinator, and Climate Action Planning intern. Outside C40, she has also lent her support to international diplomatic campaigns, including Mexico’s campaign for UNESCO Director-General.
Originally from Mexico City, Aura holds an MSc in Environmental Technology (Urban Sustainable Environments) from Imperial College London and a BA in International Relations from King’s College London. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French.
