Daniel serves as Director for Transportation at C40. He has 20 years’ experience of leading transport strategy, policy, and planning including 16 years working for the city and regional governments in London, Stockholm and Vancouver.
As a director at TransLink, the regional transportation agency in Vancouver, he was responsible for a study of mobility pricing in 2016, as well as feasibility studies for major public transport expansions. As chief strategy officer for transport at the City of Stockholm, he was project manager for the Urban Mobility Strategy and managed the implementation and amendment of the city’s congestion tax system. At Transport for London, he worked on the implementation of the congestion charge and low emission zone.
Daniel has a degree and masters in Town Planning, having studied at the University of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, UK and the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm.
