Helen leads the technical assistance part of C40’s Air Quality Program and works on deploying projects within cities in the areas of air quality monitoring, health impact assessment, air quality modelling, data analysis and policy development. Prior to this role, Helen led the Empowering Cities with Data Programme to support city governments to a) insitutionalise and transform their data management processes and systems and b) collect criticial data needed to develop and implement targeted policies across all sectors. She joined C40 in 2016 on the Research, Measurement & Planning team and previously worked on climate change, energy and transport policy at the Institute for Public Policy Research (IPPR). She holds an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and a BSc in Natural Sciences from University College London.
