Kaveri, based in Bengaluru, is the Manager for Resilience within the Regions and Mayoral Engagement team at C40 Cities, where she supports cities across South and West Asia.

Before joining C40, she worked with the National Institute of Urban Affairs (NIUA). She led the development of the Jamnagar City Climate Action Plan and contributed to climate planning across multiple Indian cities, including Pune, Leh, and Junagadh. She also played a pivotal role in India’s G20 Urban 20 (U20) engagement and provided strategic support to the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and the Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation.

An urbanist and trained architect, Kaveri holds a Master’s in Urban Planning from CEPT University and a Bachelor’s in Architecture from MGM’s Jawaharlal Nehru Engineering College. She brings over four years of experience in climate action planning, disaster management, policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and resilience-building across diverse geographies.
