Naomi Baster is currently Head of Transport Innovation and Technical Engagement, providing strategic direction on the C40 Transport program, including supporting team management and fundraising. She also serves as the expert lead on all transport content to support the delivery and update of C40 cities’ Climate Action Plans. Previously Naomi led on public transport at C40, supporting cities to make the case for and design policies that prioritise, improve and enhance public transport. She also co-led C40’s ‘The Future Is Public Transport’ campaign in collaboration with the International Transport Workers’ Federation.
Prior to joining C40, Naomi worked at Transport for London where she developed policies, strategies and projects that increased and improved walking, cycling and public transport journeys. She also has four years’ experience working in the UK Parliament and a BA in Economics and French.
