Dr Sri Haryati is the Undersecretary for Economic Affairs and Finance in the office of the Governor of Jakarta. In this role, she assists the city secretary in coordinating the formulation of policies on economic affairs and finance. With more than 22-years of experience working as a civil servant for the city administration; her expertise ranges from financial and asset management, taxes, tourism, transportation, trade and industry, SMEs, investment, and the management of city-owned enterprises.

Dr Haryati was previously assigned as Head of Economic Affairs Bureau from 2016 to 2019 and held managerial positions in different departments. In response to the plan to move the capital city, Governor Anies Baswedan appointed her to lead the city administration working team, currently drafting academic papers and recommendations to the national government for the bill of Jakarta’s special territory status in the future.

Dr Sri Haryati holds a BSc in Aquatic Resource Management, an MSc in Coastal and Marine Resources Management and a PhD in Natural Resources and Environmental Management, all from the Bogor Institute of Agriculture, Indonesia.
