Electric buses will soon be introduced on the streets of Guadalajara, Hermosillo, and Monterrey, providing a new healthier way to travel. These cities will be supported by the C40 Cities Finance Facility (CFF) to develop the business case for introducing electric bus systems in each city. Electric buses save 50-60% of greenhouse gas emissions compared to diesel buses, as well as bringing significant air quality benefits and improving the health of passengers and residents. Citizens can also expect to see decreased noise pollution, reduced congestion and travel times.
