镇江市不断优化能源供给，发展可再生能源和清洁能源。2020年光伏总装机容量达到900兆瓦以上，非化石能源比重逐年上升，2019年万元GDP综合能耗0.02吨标准煤/万元；依托扬中高新区重点发展新能源、智能微电网等产业，以科技创新为能源结构转型提供了强劲支撑，助推城市经济的绿色转型，为实现”达峰”与”碳中和”目标迈出了坚实的脚步。

Zhenjiang has continuously optimized the city’s energy supply and developed clean energy systems. In 2020, the city’s total installed photovoltaic capacity reached more than 900 MW, and the proportion of non-fossil energy has increased year by year. In 2019, across the city, energy consumption per 10,000 yuan GDP was 0.02 tons of standard coal. Utilizing the Yangzhong High-tech Zone to focus on the development of new energy, smart microgrid and other industries, strong support has been provided for the transformation of Zhenjiang’s energy structure. This has boosted the green transformation of the urban economy and has provided solid steps along the road to achieving citywide “peaking” and “carbon neutrality”.
